Privacy policy
The Bewty app keeps everything on your phone. No accounts, no servers, no tracking, no ads.
What Bewty stores
Your workouts, sets, goals, challenges, stickers, any body stats you choose to enter (like height, weight, and age), your Coach Jo chats and notes, and your selfies. All of it lives only on your iPhone, inside the Bewty app. Photos are encrypted while your phone is locked.
What we collect
Nothing from the app. Bewty has no account, no server, and no analytics or advertising tools. We can't see your data, because it never leaves your phone.
Coach Jo
Coach Jo is an AI. She runs on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device model. Your chats and the notes Jo keeps about you are not sent to us or to anyone else. Reminders and nudges are scheduled on your phone too.
Camera and photos
- Camera: used only when you take a selfie or mirror check.
- Photo library: when you pick a photo, Bewty only gets that one photo.
- Saving to Photos: Bewty only adds your Peach Print. It never reads your library.
Sharing
Nothing is shared unless you tap Share or Save to Photos. After that, what happens to the picture is up to you and the app you share it to.
Backups and Apple
Your Bewty data is included in your normal iPhone or iCloud backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy. If you've turned on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage stats. We use those only to fix bugs.
Deleting your data
Delete a timeline entry and its photo is gone. Delete the app and everything goes with it.
This website
The Bewty website only collects the email you type into the waitlist. It's stored in Kit, our email tool, so we can tell you when Bewty launches. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you open Bewty Radio, Spotify's player loads and Spotify's privacy policy applies. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Like most websites, our host (Vercel) keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running. Emails we send may use Kit's standard open and click tracking.
Kids
Bewty is made for adults and isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If Bewty ever starts sending data off your phone, we'll tell you in the app before it happens.
